08:30 - 08:45 - Take Line B from Termini towards Laurentina to Colosseo station (2nd stop).
08:45 - 09:00 - Walk to W 300m to the Information Centre. Go near the Roman Forum for tickets. Palantino, Colosseum and Roman Forum (use Roman Pass for 1st entry)
09:00 - 10:30 - Roman Forum (also known as Foro Romano, closes 15:30pm) (LP67)
10:30 - 12:00 - Wander the Palantino (LP63, Palantine Hill) including Museo Palatino (LP66, closes 4pm) exiting from the East.
12:00 - 13:30 - Walk N and visit the Colosseum (LP62, closes 15:30pm).
xx:xx - 13:00 - If ahead of schedule visit Chiesa San Clemente (LP116, E$5, closed 1 to 3pm) E of the Colosseum.
13:30 - 15:00 - Grab lunch in the area E of the Colosseum.
15:00 - 15:30 - Walk 1km W from the Colosseum to the big white Il Vittoriano.
15:30 - 16:00 - Optionally climb Il Vittoriano (LP71, close at 4pm, free admission).
16:00 - 16:10 - S is Piazza del Campidoglio (LP70) designed by Michelangelo.
16:10 - 18:30 - Enter the Capitoline Museums (LP70, use Roman Pass for 2nd entry) via Palazzo dei Conservatori. With the same ticket go to the ajoining Palazzo Nuovo.
18:30 - 20:00 - Walk to N around Piazza Venezia (LP71, St. Mark’s Place) for dinner.
20:00 - 20:30 - Take Bus 40 from Piazza Venezia back to Termini.
On this day we were ahead of schedule and visited the next day's Chiesa di Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, The Pantheon, and Piazza Navona.
